Movie (Title) Mashups are maybe my favorite HB feature evah. Stennie’s best: The Third Man of La Mancha; Bet: The Longest Day for Night of the Living Dead is sheer, super genius.
So here’s me taking a crack at this. Some of these I’ve been sitting on since the Best of the ’80s podcast (hint, wink). I’m no Patrick MLL, but maybe you think I’ve got some game:
Private dick Rory Reardon (Steve Martin) and a cast of classic noir characters uncover a sinister plot involving a ski race, a French foreign-exchange student and a maniacal paper boy who wants his TWO DOLLARS!
A red-haired German girl tries over and over to get some money to her boyfriend, who’s gone on the lam to figure out why no one lives past 30 in their utopian future society.
After their father dies, the Dashwood Sisters find themselves in difficult circumstances, inheritance-wise, and decide to put on a concert featuring a Talking Head in a comically oversize suit.
Squeaky-voiced kid, while time-traveling to make sure his parents hook up, gets his hand chopped off during a fight with his dad, who, it turns out, is literally the meanest SOB in the galaxy.
