    I don’t know what the Oxford says nowadays, but one word that I never use anymore is “peruse.” The traditional definition was something like, “to examine something closely,” but now it’s become the opposite: “to skim over,” etc.

    “Issue” as a synonym for “problem” will always be at the top of my list, though.
