Yay – someone besides me who thinks Krispy Kremes are vile. I’m a cake donut person.

Boy being a mermaid means that he takes one of my pillows, sticks his legs inside the pillowcase and brings it up to his waist, and screaming “I’m a mermaid!”

Speaking of Boy, by the time you record, it will be time for a belated birthday shoutout for him. Six!

Damn–I think the trip to see Sierra distracted me from podcasts and I missed an episode of you guys. Will have to go back. Toronto was great but colder than NYC by about ten degrees, most of the time. Sierra and I did do a bunch of fun things like see the Lego Movie, which I think everyone should also go see, visit an aquarium which was really amazing, we toured a brewery which was fun (mostly because of the free beer) and we even ate an entire meal completely in the dark. I recommend each of these to anyone visiting Toronto.

I also may have inadvertently supported Canada in the Olympics by buying a Canada hoodie that I didn’t realize was an Olympic Canada hoodie. Ah well. Guess I’m a terrorist now. Is Al Kayda in the Olympics?

I don’t have much else to say about the episode, beyond that I heartily agree with Heidi about “Fog of War.” It’s one of my favorite documentaries ever. That’s another one I think everyone needs to see (maybe not in a double feature with The Lego Movie, however). It has some really important revelations regarding America’s role in 20th century history.

Oh and Heidi, I saw Erol Morris on Colbert once and he explained that he leaves his subjects alone in front of a camera but has a monitor that he appears on, so he can keep prodding the interview subject. I think the subjects being alone allows them to feel like they’re in some sort of confession booth or some other space that takes the pressure of confessing your terrible deeds to someone else.

    Anyway, that’s it for me!

Did you think more on the Hucklebug video?!? I STILL WANNA DO IT (Kay does too). So announce the song already!!!

Love from Toronto, and Gunther says hi (guess what Disney character I was friends with today). Hint: the Snuggly Duckling has awesome ale
