  1. Tina Kelly says:

    Hey there ladies.

Sorry if this is a bit long but is missed last week. Only read what you want.

LOST IN SPACE: I loved that programme when I was younger, we had lots of American TV programmes here like that, time tunnel, lassie, high chaperale. Loved them all.

PRUNELLA SCALES: loved Faulty towers but was shocked to know there was only 12 Episodes.

MOUNTAIN LAKE: Yes, we went there and loved every minute of it. I still have a pin your mum gave me that she had of dirty dancing that I think they were giving out as freebies at the time to all the locals or somthing like that.

MACAULEY CULKIN: bloody love him and Brenda Song. So lovely to see him finally loving his life.

HOUSE OF DYNAMITE: I also watched this a few weeks ago and thought the ending was a bit abrupt, but then again, Chicago was going to be hit by a nuclear bomb. Like Stens, was going to suggest watching Dr Stranglove.

KITTY CORNER: Never heard that at all. We would just just say
‘Up/over the road or around the corner’. In Ireland though, they would say things like, ‘your one above/below’ meaning ‘someone up or down the road’.

GILSON: I was so sad. It was like the end of an era as I have been seeing him play with Jools for years. Saw Jools
Last night and they done a lovely tribute to him. They are also re showing ‘walking to New Orleans’ here tomorrow.

RANDOM: I also met Sam Brown .

SQUEEZE TOUR BUS: I remember they recorded the BBC 9 o’clock news and them all sitting there watching it 🤣 Rock and Roll baby!

Funny you were talking about all the people you met through squeeze as of course, this is how I met Bet and Steve B. I always laugh as how my song is REM and not a Squeeze song. I have loved them since I was 14, but understand why I have ‘Stand’ as Net and Terri we’re teaching me the dance when we stopped at a restaurant room on our way to see them. I remember seeing a sight ‘beware of the bears’ 🐻 🤣

TRIXIER: New/Old Squueze song. Your thoughts? They have made an album from old squeeze lyrics written in the late 70’s . My favourite stuff from them is earlie, I am interested to hear it.

BLACKSBURG COMMUNITY BAND: Yes, I voted.

    Finally….. I’m done.

Have a good one ladies if you have a show tonight and enjoy your time off both. You will be missed.

Stennie: I hope the move goes well xx
