    French kiss a Republican or lick a democrat’s armpit.
    Go to see the Hackensaw boys or go to your parents’ anniversary party.
    Watch You are What You Eat or watch Big Brother.
    Have a child or be pistol-whipped.
    Get intimate with George Clooney or Johnny Depp.
    Tell off (in person) Sarah Palin or Dick Cheney.
    Be buried alive or left in solitary confinement for the rest of your life.
    Read Eudora Welty’s fiction or Flannery O’Connor’s fiction.
    Be a black woman or an Asian Woman.
    Give Up the Hucklebug or Give up listening to music.

    Tip: Do not leave your toothbrushes in an open container anywhere near your commode. Fecal material will collect on your toothbrush, and you will transfer it to your mouth when you brush.

    Citizen Kane—way up there on the “canonical films I don’t like”. Blade Runner is the one that pains me to say—I so want to like it.
