I hope everyone will be enjoying a safe and delicious Thanksgiving dinner. For those who don’t celebrate, enjoy something sinfully decadent—something like godiva chocolate cheesecake covered with peanut butter sauce and topped with mint chocolate chip ice cream or any ice cream of your choice. Just don’t look at the fat or sugar content of any of the items.

I am not someone who like to cook, but I’ve been making a concerted effort to cook at home rather than ordering out from local restaurants. I’ve become a wiz at blueberry syrup and peanut pumpkin soup (not to be consumed together). I go to Youtube for recipes and here are some of my favorites. Nigella Lawson is a must. Some of hers:

chocolate cheesecake which I’ve made and if I can make it, it’s simple:

Now that I know more than I wanted to know about you gals, I must say that I would hire you for my company merely for the great stories heard around the water cooler…Mr. Obama…eeeeee maybe.  He’s a pretty cool guy and may forgive, like God or something.

Our thanksgiving was great. http://is.gd/9qXR And why not combine blueberry syrup and peanut pumpkin soup?  Will the universe explode?

I love my parents and actually like hanging out with them, so I wouldn’t mind going on a vacation with them.  However, my Dad is a city man and my Mom likes to go out to the desert for camping or out somewhere for fishing, so there’d be a bit of a tussel as to where to go.  Plus, they’re each married to someone else with the same likes of vacation spots, so would I have to deal with the step parents as well?  I think this question book was written before the destruction of the average family trend came about.

I’ll be over to your place next Friday, Stennie smile

Well, ok. So I guess the comments are working again. Good. I only wish I remember what my comments were. *sigh*. I said something about prop 8, I think, and something about the cats not being possessions, but family.

I’m too busy watching Brothers and Sisters to come up with a new bunch of comments. Then I have to go to bed. Maybe tomorrow after work…

Excellent outtakes by the way. I have always liked the outtake shows.

Not sure if it’s real or not, but it’s so true to life that I can’t get over it.
