The oboe requires two reeds
And often the audience pleads
From Kellie, play more!
Yes, another encore!
And she mets their musical needs.
Wow, happy birthday sung by stennie and bet! I’m honored. Thanks!
I like the limericks too.
Another movie quote for you
“There are two kinds of people in this world, winners and losers”
Or words to that effect. Might have a few words wrong but that’s the intent. Got the movie?
Here’s one from me: “I asked you a simple question. Do you love her?” “Yes, but don’t hold that against me. I’m a bit screwy myself” [quote two, in case you don’t get it: “I have proved that the limb is mightier than the thumb”]
And another film: “You know Maude, someone meeting you for the first time, not knowing you were cracked, might get the wrong impression of you.”
Okay, back to napping on the couch.
Hmm, that ate part of my answer. (don’t use square brackets, apparently)—what’s missing is the backup to the first film, in case you don’t get it, is “I have proven that the limb is mightier than the thumb”.
Two Limericks!!!! I’m so blessed. Wow – and what a nice Hucklebug Limerick, as well. Of course not as nice as mine. You are definitely gifted!
