Good thoughts for Paw. I hope they can find the right stuff to make him comfortable. And wtf do you mean you’re the irresponsible daughter? Not remotely true. Don’t doubt yourself. It’s a dropped two.

My browser ate my earlier comment – I had typed it but didn’t hit post so I could leave it up while I listened. Came here to type again, but it was gone. What’s up with that? So, in a nutshell – I had to take exception with one thing Bet said about liking movies is subjective. When it comes to Kingpin, this is not true. That movie was objectively horrible. If they gave it two thumbs up, they got bought.

I’m back from the cruises and had a great time, as you’d sort of expect, but I just wanted to say how sad I am about Pa, Bet.

I’m sending virtual hugs your way and am once again reminded of my decade-plus long question for our leaders in politics: Why isn’t there a War on Cancer? We’ve got a War on Drugs, a War on Terror, but cancer kills waaaay more people than either terrorists or drugs.

Anyway, I’m back in the real world and I’m listening again. Keep up the good shows, ladies.

Thank you so much for mentioning Hissy! That was quite touching. I remember, Heidi, that you spent many years looking after Hissy whilst I was away. Thanks for always being so kind to her. I’ve been surprised at how much I still miss her. 16 years is a long time. Luv to y’all~!!

  4. The clash on Friday is likely to alarm the Chinese government. It came just two days after a confrontation in Turpan Prefecture, another part of Xinjiang, left 35 people dead, according to the state-run news agency, Xinhua. In that episode, Xinhua said, a crowd attacked a township police station and government offices on Wednesday, and the police fired on the participants. Xinhua said rioters killed 24 people, and police officers fatally shot 11 rioters.
