    Two before I forget:
    1. “Dinner Party Kevin Spacey” – interpretation from my cryptic comment last week. I downloaded a Dinner Party Download Podcast per Stennie’s suggestion and it had Kevin Spacey on it. It was pretty good.
    2. How about adding a picture to your itunes podcast? It is just a blank boring grey podcast icon and could be 2 sock monkeys. Just saying!!

  2. Kellie with an ie says:

    The rest of my comments:
Favorite Sandwich – Turkey and Provolone
Bet – glad you had fun at the Eddie show – I’ve never watched any of his shows – guess I might have to check one out due to your wonderful recommendations. Glad I’ve missed that pig commercial – that’s just strange sounding!!
    Have a good weekend, ladies!!

  3. Sue Inwood says:

Can you give me a shout out here in good old England. On 8 June i am off to Tanzania for 13 weeks as a volunteer project manager with a charity called Raleigh International. Now it is almost here I am excited and nervous and most of all will miss your broadcasts!!

    I’m in New Jersey!

    …on a train…

…to Orlando to see Sierra again. I’m so sorry I’ve fallen so far behind on listening! Things have been hectic since I’ve been back from visiting Sierra. My MacBook Pro died and I have been spending almost all my time dealing with that and getting a new laptop and before I know it, it’s time to go again. I swear the four weeks since my last visit went faster than the two weeks I spent visiting Sierra.

Aaanyway, so I’m taking the train this time so I can have an adventure, spend less money and stop off at my mom’s in South Carolina on the way back. Oh and see the east coast from something other than a car.

Just a quick note about comic book movies–these days they don’t suck. Well, the Marvel ones don’t, anyway. Man of Steel was a mess, but the Marvel ones, while not perfect are pretty fun and pretty reasonable adaptations. I haven’t seen the new Spider-Man but the new X-Men was good as was Captain America 2. DC comics needs to fire somebody because the last two movies they’ve done were pretty bad. I laughed through “Dark Knight Rises”–every time ghe bad guy spoke I just felt kind of insulted. I feel like Chris Nolan is overrated.

Oh and Bet–my mom lives in Rock Hill, South Carolina, which is twenty minutes south of Charlotte. I’ll be getting off a train there in a couple weeks πŸ™‚ small world!

I’m so pleased you guys took my topic suggestion! And yeah, my plan was to keep it open to burgers or subs or whatever not necessarily sandwichy things but sandwiches are fine, too. My fave is grilled cheese. Boring but an old favorite of mine. Though your french toast sandwich sounds pretty damn tasty, Sten.

Ha! I guess you guys think grilled cheese isn’t so boring! πŸ™‚ To me, anything with melted cheese on it is sooo good.

And I’m in Maryland now! Just another 21ish hours to go until Orlando! >_<

I’m so glad you are recording late – I thought I’d lost my opportunity to comment!

I watched Mortified Nation on your recommendation, and really enjoyed it. I figuratively laughed out loud . I’d love to see it live.

Speaking about live – thank you for not divulging too much about Eddie – but Bet, I’m bringing a newbie, and your comment about Eddie referencing older material worries me. Do you think someone who has never experienced him would be lost?

Favorite sandwich: It’s peanut butter and jelly. Sorry, I know it’s boring, but I love it. Grilled cheese is a favorite, and I like it with some tomato inside.

Betster – I’ve seen the Feed the Pig ads, and I have the same question. Why is the guy working so hard to save money? Isn’t that the point of the ad? Save money? Why make it look hard?

And thank you for not attacking your banker. I may not be a teller, but I do work for a financial institution, and it’s good to know my pseudo-colleagues are safe.
