  1. Michelle says:

    Hi Ladies!

***Correction*** Punim just turned 3, not 4. He’s 2 years younger than Milo.

Betster, KEEP THE FOOTIES AWAY FROM MILO! Does he get into your laundry? How does he get them?

And congratulations for winning the Belmot Stakes. Pity you didn’t actually gamble. You’d be one rich Hucklebugger.

Love Acutally – I saw it in the THEater, and I don’t remember liking it. And I don’t remember much about it. I must have blocked it out of my mind.

Commercials – Stenns, I saw the “Mommy I took a poopy” commercial, and you’re right. That child is way too old to be proud of this feat, and way shouldn’t be doing it in the tub. Maybe he’s “special” or been traumatized or something, but I doubt it.

16 may be late for the chicken pox, but I’m on the cusp of turning 45, and I still haven’t had them, or any of those childhood diseases. I need to stay away from the little germ magnets. I’d hate to have the mumps or chicken pox now, when I’d have the rest of my life to remember it.

  2. Kellie says:

Bet, Way to go on the horse pick. Stennie, big tanks for saved you a click. It’s excellent!
Ear wax. I absolutely love that diagnosis.

  3. Michelle says:

Listening to the topic of best TV parents, I tried hard to think of a family you didn’t mention. I would like to give honorable mention to Mr. Eddie’s Father – the Courtship of Eddie’s Father. Now HE was a great dad.

What about expanding on this as a topic – TV Dads without Moms. There are several that come to mind, which means there are probably a lot more.

  4. Janet says:

About “Casting By,” we were the ones who twice suggested that you all would enjoy it. I am pretty sure we originally saw it on Indepedent Lens.

In case anyone feels so moved to send correspondence to “Hello Sue,” here is her address:

    Sue Inwood
    Raleigh Tanzania
    P O Box 729
    Morogoro
    Tanzania

    Postage for 1 ounce $1.15, for 2 ounces $1.98
The three of us mailed off a card to her today, hoping it will be waiting for her when she comes back from her 17-day trek. I wrote a page, Donna wrote a page and Pinto dictated a letter to Sue, too…….no, really, he did……or at least that’s what she claims.

  5. Donna says:

    Loving the World Cup!
I can’t watch football/soccer regular season matches as much as Stennie can but for some reason, I always really get in to the World Cup. Our local sports radio talking head has really been challenging the traditional sports fans in town to give soccer a chance, urging them to “date” soccer for two weeks. The NBA and NHL seasons are finally over so what else is there to watch? (That is what he says, not me: I don’t watch the NBA or the NHL!) I have to give the World Cup the same respect and time I give the Olympics and the Tour de France. As events, they are greater than the games themselves because of all the great pageantry and traditions.
