Hi ladies! Happy 2016!! As you know, I’m super behind on shows, so just powered through a few (395-400?)
1. Bet, do you still need folks to get you those chips you like?
2. A favorite food as a kid but hate as an adult: dehydrated banana chips. Ate sooo many of those as a youngster, but now, the smell alone as an adult makes me gag. The reverse of that: as a kid disliked anything that wasn’t iceberg lettuce, as an adult I eat just about anything green (kale, spinach, avocado, cilantro, etc.)
3. I’ve been enjoying your recaps of Freak and Geeks (I have yet to watch the show though, it’s on my list!) A co-worker of mine used to be on the show. He played “Colin” in 3 episodes according to IMDb. He still acts some, writes/directs fringe festival short plays here in town, but he’s our IT guy in the office. Stennie, you mentioned that you hadn’t seen Linda Cardellini in much else, I remember her fondly from Legally Blonde with Reese Witherspoon. She played “Chutney.”

Stennie – tell me more about why I would want a Wii U over the Wii. Will it really play all the Wii games? Is the Mario Kart that comes with some of the bundles really a different Mario Kart than Mario Kart Wii? The Wii U controller seems very heavy. Do you actually use it to play games or just the regular controllers? Can you actually play games on the controller without having it on the TV (so can TV be on cable and you play the game on the controller screen)? If not, what is the screen for on the controller. Do you have to look at it and the TV to play? I’m thinking about upgrading but I have a lot of questions!! I did see that it would play Amazon Prime stuff so that is a positive. And I’d love to play your “Typing” game that you described that I can’t remember the name of now.
Also, I think I was also the summer job topic suggestion. I really love my new Overcast podcast app – it works sooooo much better than the updated apple podcast software. I’ve also cause the first episode of Serial.
Galavant – did one of you watch this ridiculous show last year. I have to say, it is incredibly stupid but I did watch the first week and I will continue to record. I really, really liked the introductory song number. It’s so silly and some of it is really smart. But I love the idea of them just breaking into song. It’s a wonderful show to wash dishes by!!
