I (we) have a movie recommendation, “Me and Earl and the Dying Girl.” We saw it last Saturday and loved it and thought many times how much you would both enjoy it. Bet will love that Greg and Earl make their own movies, spoofs of actual movies (A Sockwork Orange, for example).

Hello ladies – I think I’ve caught up – been on a lovely vacation but missed you guys!! Loved the Pinot envy band name, thanks for sharing your favorite place to eat as a kid (I think that might have been my idea??? My favorite memory of a place was Duff’s Smorgasbord – where you actually stood in 1 of 2 locations to watch the food. In one it was a circle the food rotated around or and in one place against the wall the food was on a conveyor belt. That’s some good eats when you have to catch your food. My second memory was the local McDonalds – and the play place outside – that old metal original one – some serious Texas summer burns!! Bet – can’t wait to hear about your concert – saw the posts on Facebook. Hoping to see Inside Out soon! That is all for now!

Ladies! Sorry I’m late. I’m kind of glad you didn’t record without me.

So yes- Chester Diner. My brother lives in Flanders, one town over, and we go there when I’m in town. Love it. I miss diners.

My favorite places to go out to eat as a kid- kind of a tough call. We didn’t hardly ever go out. My dad was a fan of Ponderosa. I liked the salad bar- you could pick whatever you wanted. When my folks weren’t watching, I’d load up a plate with broccoli, croutons and 1,000 dressing.

How things change- I can’t stand that dressing now, and I don’t eat croutons. Which makes me think of a good topic. What things did you like to eat as a kid, that you can’t stand now?

About the meditation link- Roger posted first, but I’m so glad it made your week Heidi!

What’s your phraseology- where does “in like Flynn” come from?
